Program Information

The York Regional Police Summer Student Employment Program provides valuable paid summer employment opportunities to full-time college or university students who have a genuine interest in a future policing career. Students considering a policing profession will gain exposure to the various police services that can assist them with their future career path decisions.

To Be Considered

Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college or university as a full-time student pursuing education that is applicable to the law enforcement industry.

Must be continuing their studies into the fall 2026 semester following their involvement in the York Regional Police Summer Student Employment Program.

An expressed interest in pursuing a career in the policing profession is required.
